The Foundation is an independent charitable organisation with no affiliation with any other organisation or group. It was founded for the purpose of taking care of the sick, elderly and needy people of the Chinese Australian Community. Our services depend on government funding, service fees and community donations. We appeal for donations from anyone who supports the objective of providing high quality aged care to older people living with frailty, sickness, disabilities and dementia as well as carer support services.
Donation no matter large or small are welcome to help our Foundation to establish needy services to meet the changing needs of the society. The service goals and targets can easily be reached if every member of our community is willing to give his or her due.
For everyone who is familiar with the Chinese precept of "Love, serve and respect our elderly folks and extend it to those of your neighbours" would appreciate that investment in our community welfare is an investment towards our own future welfare.
ANHF has not engaged agencies or other organisations to collect donations, presents or gifts on our behalf. Donations in cash or by cheque, should be sent to the ANHF office at 58 Weldon Street, Burwood NSW 2134. Please make cheques payable to Australian Nursing Home Foundation. ANHF will issue an Official Receipt for donations of $2.00 or more.
