Dr Ng is a highly respected leader in aged care and community housing services, with extensive experience across the not-for-profit, government and academic sectors. She has dedicated her career to improving the lives of older people through innovative service models, community development and technology-enabled solutions.

Most recently, Dr Ng served as Social and Elderly Wellness Director at the Hong Kong Housing Society, where she oversaw the delivery of self-funded retirement housing, residential and home care services as well as community support services for a large tenant community across social housing estates.

In recognition of her outstanding achievements as one of the world’s most influential thought leaders driving innovation and shaping the future of ageing, she was awarded the Global Ageing Trailblazer Award at the 2023 Eldercare Innovation Awards and named a Global Ageing Influencer in 2025.

Dr Ng had held senior leadership positions with the University of Hong Kong’s Centre on Ageing, the Hong Kong Alzheimer’s Disease Association, and the Hong Kong Government’s Community Investment and Inclusion Fund under the Labour and Welfare Bureau. She is also a member of the Guardianship Board and a Board member of the Hong Kong Association of Gerontology.

Dr Ng holds a Bachelor of Social Work, Master of Social Science (Ageing and Health) and PhD in Social Work from the University of Hong Kong, and has completed the Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
