Lucy Chieng Gardens
Located in Campsie, Lucy Chieng Gardens is highly sought after in our community as independent living accommodation for seniors. Being a specialised and safe seniors housing service for tenants of Chinese origin, it is an attractive option for those who want to feel a little more secure as they get older while still looking after themselves independently.

This two-storey property in Campsie provides hostel-style accommodation for seniors over 60 who want to live independently in a culturally appropriate environment while also receiving supportive services from ANHF.
In 2009, with the generous support from Mr Wilson Chieng, ANHF was able to purchase this block of 34 units for AUD$1 and to fully renovate it in early 2010. The property is named Lucy Chieng Gardens in memory of Mr Chieng’s late mother.
Tenants have their own units, but can enjoy Chinese meals provided in the evening in a shared dining room. An activity room is available to all residents for social gatherings and group activities. Other features include Chinese satellite television, table games, a library with books in the Chinese language, a kiosk with two computers and free Internet access for all tenants.
