Chow Cho-Poon Nursing Home was opened in November 1992 as a major project of the Australian Nursing Home Foundation. The aim is to provide a culturally appropriate environment for the frail-aged who requires residential care in the Chinese community.
Chow Cho-Poon Nursing Home is located in Earlwood with close proximity to Earlwood and Marrickville shopping centres either by walking or bus. There is a good bus service which passes our front entrance - route no. 423 operates between the City and Kingsgrove.
Our facility consists of 46 beds dividing into East and West Wings. Each Wing consists of 14 rooms (i.e. 5 single rooms and 9 twin-shared rooms).
The Central block is facilitated with a kitchen, dining room, activity room, lounge room and courtyard/garden areas. The Lower Level of the facility consists of the laundry, storerooms, staff amenity and car park.
