Our Communications and Marketing Unit acts as a bridge between government aged care services and the Chinese community. It provides you with easy-to-understand information about the wide range of services available and their application procedures, fees and charges.
Through a variety of channels like radio broadcasts, Chinese newspapers and magazines, information sessions and information stalls it also raises awareness. With this comprehensive understanding of the support you can receive, and with CMU’s help with referrals, your senior years will be both comfortable and enjoyable.

Free Information Sessions
We conduct information sessions on aged care services in many areas of metropolitan Sydney. Chinese community groups, community centres, religious groups and others are welcome to contact us on (02) 9784 0838 to arrange on-site information sessions by Cantonese- or Mandarin-speaking staff.
Hotline
With English being a language barrier, many elderly Chinese people have difficulties or feel frustrated when applying for aged care services in Australia. We understand!
