Press one button to contact ANHF’s 24/7 Support Hotline to seek emergency assistance in your own language. Our Speak Your Language Call Monitoring Service (SYLCMS) is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program and provides a unique service for older people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
In an emergency, when the SOS button is activated, ANHF’s 24/7 Support Hotline and your nominated emergency contact persons will receive an alert via SMS at the same time. Our hotline staff speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English – so we’ve got you covered.
To be eligible to receive our Speak Your Language Call Monitoring Service, you will first need to apply for ‘Goods, Equipment and Assistive Technology’ funding support under the Commonwealth Home Support Program. To apply for this service, you have to be aged 65 or above from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Ask more about government funding options and how to apply.
*Disclaimer: SYLCMS does not provide emergency services. If the Smart Care device cannot contact the ANHF Support Hotline due to internet disruption, insufficient battery or other causes, please call 000 emergency services for help.
