The Requirements

Essential

  • Motivation and commitment to caring for the elderly
  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Certificate IV in Leisure & Health
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in aged or community based services working with older people providing lifestyle services, personal care and/or other support services
  • Evidence of good communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken Chinese and basic skills in written and spoken English
  • Evidence of a good team building, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of WH&S, EEO and anti-discrimination legislative requirements
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain

Locum Coordinator

The Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum Certificate IV in aged, disability or other relevant area.
  • Minimum 3 year experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing centre based day care and respite services.
  • Understanding of Commonwealth Home Support Program Guidelines, the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including competency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English as well as Chinese and/or Vietnamese.
  • Current certificate in First Aid
  • Current NSW driver’s license
  • Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency
  • National Police Clearance
  • Current driver’s licence, good driving record, access to and use of a registered vehicle, CTP with comprehensive insurance for work purposes upon instruction by management or in any exigency.

Registered Nurse (Expression of Interest)

Provide a leading role in clinical care to residents. Responsible for all the required processes in the provision of high quality care services in ANHF Nursing home. Support Care Manager in providing information, advice, referral and direct support services to residents in meeting their identified care needs. Provides direction, support and guidance to team leaders to ensure their teams are effectively engaged in the delivery of person centred care to residents, and monitors activities against specific performance requirements.
